HArmonyCa is an injectable treatment that improves the firmness, structure and overall quality of your skin. It belongs to a family of treatments called biostimulators. That is a long word for a simple idea: instead of only filling a space, these treatments gently wake up your skin so it starts repairing itself.

What makes HArmonyCa special is what is inside the syringe. It brings together two active ingredients that work as a team:

HA
Hyaluronic acid

A substance your skin already makes to stay hydrated and plump. In HArmonyCa, it gives an immediate, subtle lift and smooths the area right away. It also acts as a support, holding the second ingredient evenly in place so the results look even.

CaHA
Calcium hydroxyapatite

A mineral that occurs naturally in your bones. It works more slowly, sending a signal to your skin to build fresh collagen, the protein that keeps skin firm, over the weeks and months that follow.

HArmonyCa is powered by Allergan Aesthetics patented DART (Dual Action Regenerative Technology). This technology allows both ingredients to be placed precisely in the skin so they work together, providing an immediate lifting effect from the hyaluronic acid while stimulating collagen production through the calcium hydroxyapatite.

HArmonyCa received Health Canada authorization in May 2026.

How It Works

HArmonyCa works in two clear steps.

First, the immediate step

As soon as it is injected, the gel adds support to areas that have lost volume. This is the hyaluronic acid at work. It smooths the skin and helps restore the contours of the face straight away. The gel also spreads the tiny calcium spheres evenly through the skin, placing them exactly where they need to be.

Then, the gradual step

Over the following weeks, those calcium spheres encourage your skin to get to work. They activate your fibroblasts, the cells in your skin whose job is to make collagen. As new collagen forms, it strengthens the deeper layers of your skin, so it gradually feels firmer, springier and smoother. The best part is that this is not a quick fix. It builds slowly and can last for many months, supporting your skin from within.

HArmonyCa is supported by clinical data demonstrating improvements in facial appearance, patient satisfaction, and tissue lifting.

91.6% of patients showed an improvement in the overall appearance of the treated facial areas.

Patients reported an average satisfaction score of 4.1 out of 5, maintained for up to 19 months after treatment.

HArmonyCa vs. Radiesse and Sculptra

Patients often ask how HArmonyCa compares to other collagen-building injectables, like Radiesse and Sculptra. All three belong to the same family and encourage your skin to make new collagen. The difference is in what they are made of, and how they behave in the skin.

HArmonyCa

HArmonyCa is the only one of the three that combines two ingredients, hyaluronic acid and calcium hydroxyapatite. This is why it offers both an immediate, visible lift and gradual collagen building, with a little added hydration from the hyaluronic acid. Its results generally last around 12 to 18 months, often in fewer sessions. 

Radiesse

Radiesse is made of calcium hydroxyapatite alone. It gives immediate structural support and stimulates collagen over time, but without the added hydration of a hyaluronic acid. Its results typically last up to 18 months. 

Sculptra

Sculptra is made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA). It does not give an immediate result. Instead, it builds collagen gradually over several sessions, with effects that can last up to 24 months or more with maintenance.

Is HArmonyCa Safe? Risks and What to Know 

HArmonyCa is approved by Health Canada and has a well-understood safety profile. Still, like any injectable, it can cause mild side effects. You might notice redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising or itching around the injection site. These reactions are normal and usually settle within a few days. In rarer cases, small lumps, longer-lasting sensitivity or localized inflammation can occur. If anything feels unusual or does not go away, let your clinic know right away. 

HArmonyCa is not recommended if you: 

  • are pregnant or breastfeeding 
  • are under 18 years old 
  • have an active skin infection or inflammation in the area 
  • live with certain autoimmune or inflammatory conditions 
  • have had an allergic reaction to any of its ingredients
