Neuromodulator Injections Wildwood

Neuromodulator injections are a non-surgical injectable treatment performed under medical supervision. The procedure is one of the most commonly requested treatments in aesthetic medicine and is tailored to each patient's unique facial anatomy and goals during a personalized consultation.

Because every patient's facial anatomy, goals and medical history are different, neuromodulator injections at our Dermapure Wildwood clinic always begin with a personalized consultation with a physician or healthcare professional. Together, you will assess whether this treatment is the most appropriate option for you and discuss what a realistic treatment plan could look like, the expected results and the possible side effects, which will be reviewed in detail during your consultation. What to Expect During Your Session

Step 1
Personalized Assessment
Determining your treatment needs and goals is essential. Your personalized assessment considers factors like skin quality and condition, age, and genetics. We will discuss your expectations and goals and share our expertise to align the treatment with your priorities.
Step 2
Take Pictures
Photos taken before the treatment helps visualize the affected areas and can be used as a reference point when discussing your goals and comparing your “after” pictures.
Step 3
Apply a Numbing Gel
We apply a lidocaine-based gel to the treatment areas to make the injections more comfortable. While this is not always practiced at other clinics, we never skip this step at Dermapure to ensure the most enjoyable experience.
Step 4
Proceed With Injections
Our philosophy is to enhance your natural beauty. Your physician or specialized nurse proceeds with injections based on your unique facial structure. To learn more about the neuromodulator injection process, contact us.
Step 5
Return to Normal Activities
No downtime is expected, making it possible to return to your routine activities immediately after treatment. Localized redness, bruising, and swelling may occur temporarily.

Follow-Up & Maintenance

To maintain results, we recommend that you repeat the procedure every 3 to 6 months. With regular treatments, the frequency and amount of product needed diminish over time. Touch-ups may be required following the procedure.

Contraindications

Women who are pregnant or nursing should postpone this procedure. Individuals with certain neuromuscular disorders should not use this type of injectable. We recommend that you avoid aspirin or any other medications containing aspirin one week prior to your scheduled treatment.
