Fotona 3D Edmonton

Fotona 3D is a non-ablative combination laser treatment offered at our Dermapure clinics in Edmonton. The protocol layers three Fotona laser modes in a single session: Smoothliftin (intra-oral), Piano (bulk dermal heating) and Frac3 (fractional, targeting pre-existing skin irregularities), working together to support firmness, smoothness and overall renewal of the face and neck.

The three modes are always combined in the Fotona 3D protocol, with parameters adjusted to each patient’s skin. Fotona 3D can help address mild to moderate skin laxity, fine lines, perioral wrinkles and uneven texture on the face and neck, and is suitable for fair, medium and darker skin tones. The treatment may be received on its own, or planned alongside complementary in-clinic options such as injectable treatments or medical-grade skincare protocols.

Because every patient’s skin, concerns and medical history are different, Fotona 3D at our Dermapure clinics in Edmonton always begins with a personalized consultation. Together with your specialist, you will assess whether Fotona 3D is the most appropriate option for you and discuss a realistic treatment plan, the expected results and the possible side effects. Smoothliftin

A pulse of laser light, known as Smooth Mode, is delivered by the Smoothliftin laser at low speeds to safely be performed inside the mouth. The beam is aimed at the mucosa membrane inside the mouth to target the underlying tissues of the inner cheeks. The controlled thermal effect produces a wound-healing response and the stimulation of collagen remodelling.

The treatment has also proven effective for mild to moderate perioral wrinkles, better known as lip lines.

Piano

Piano causes bulk tissue heating by concentrating the energy delivery subcutaneously. It uses a unique super-extended seconds pulse and a brushing technique to complete full-thickness bulk heating to the dermis while sparing unnecessary thermal damage to the epidermis. It is also indicated for the promotion of wound healing and scar prevention.

Frac3

What makes Frac3 unique is that it creates a self-induced 3-D fractional effect, which is localized to pre-existing skin damage. A Frac3 beam is whole upon delivery to the skin and is fractionated by the skin’s imperfections as it proceeds toward the subcutaneous tissue. As a result, the tissue is treated only where required.
