MeLine Peel Edmonton
The MeLine Peel is a professional-grade chemical peel offered at our Dermapure clinics in Edmonton. It targets the overactive melanocytes responsible for pigmentation irregularities and is supported by an at-home skincare protocol that helps extend and reinforce the in-clinic session.
The MeLine Peel can help address melasma, sun-induced dark spots, post-inflammatory pigmentation, mild acne and residual acne marks on the face and body, including the cheeks, forehead, upper lip, neck, décolleté, shoulders and back. Peeling, mild redness and temporary swelling are common in the days following the treatment, and the protocol can be received on its own or as part of a personalized plan that pairs it with complementary in-clinic options.
Because every patient’s skin, concerns and medical history are different, the MeLine Peel at our Dermapure clinics in Edmonton always begins with a personalized consultation. Together with your specialist, you will assess whether the MeLine Peel is the most appropriate option for you and discuss a realistic treatment plan, the expected results, the recovery and the possible side effects, which will be reviewed in detail during your consultation. Follow-Up & Maintenance
For optimal and lasting results, a series of treatments may be recommended depending on the type and depth of pigmentation. Maintenance sessions, combined with ongoing use of pigment-regulating skincare and daily SPF, help support long-term clarity and prevent reappearance of dark spots. Your provider will design a schedule that aligns with your skin’s needs and your goals.
Contraindications
MeLine is not recommended in for patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding; have had recent sun exposure or tanning; have active skin infections or open wounds; have allergies to any of the ingredients in the formulation; have known photosensitivity or autoimmune conditions or have immediate social events following the treatment, as peeling and redness may occur.
