MicroLaserPeel Edmonton

MicroLaserPeel is a laser resurfacing treatment offered at our Dermapure clinics in Edmonton. The Erbium:YAG laser precisely removes a thin layer of damaged skin under controlled depth, supporting cell renewal and revealing fresher-looking skin once the surface has healed.

MicroLaserPeel can help refine surface texture, uneven tone, fine lines and dullness on the face, neck, décolleté and hands, with each session adjusted to skin condition and treatment goals. Visible improvement typically follows a short healing window of about three to four days, and the treatment may be received on its own or as part of a personalized plan that pairs it with complementary in-clinic options such as medical-grade skincare protocols.

Because every patient’s skin, concerns and medical history are different, MicroLaserPeel at our Dermapure clinics in Edmonton always begins with a personalized consultation. Together with your specialist, you will assess whether MicroLaserPeel is the most appropriate option for you and discuss a realistic treatment plan, the expected results, the recovery and the possible side effects. What to Expect During Your Session

Step 1
Personalized assessment
A meeting prior to the intensive MicroLaserPeel treatment allows you to better understand your expectations and your skin condition and thus build a personalized treatment plan.
Step 2
Taking photographs
Taking pre and post-treatment photographs is an important step, as it allows you to visualize the evolution of your skin condition over the course of the treatments. It is also an opportunity for you to better understand the treatment and to visualize the long-term results.
Step 3
Skin cleaning and disinfection
Carefully removing all traces of gel, makeup and lipid film is an essential step in the treatment of MicroLaserPeel . It is also important to disinfect the skin well in order to create an adequate and sterile canvas for the procedure.
Step 4
Application of an anesthetic gel
Desensitizing the skin with a numbing gel containing lidocaine will reduce the discomfort experienced during treatment. This product is applied and then left on clean skin for approximately 45 minutes before treatment.
Step 5
Treatment by MicroLaserPeel
The doctor will position the laser over the area to be treated and the scanner, assisted by software, will move the laser precisely. Depending on the size of the area to be treated, a treatment can last from 15 to 30 minutes.

Follow-Up & Maintenance
