NightLase Edmonton

Snoring Treatment

NightLase is a non-invasive laser treatment offered at our Dermapure clinics in Edmonton that targets snoring and mild to moderate sleep apnea. The protocol uses Fotona’s Er:YAG laser to deliver controlled heat to the soft tissues at the back of the mouth and throat, supporting collagen formation and a gradual tightening of the airway tissues.

NightLase can help reduce the amplitude of snoring and improve sleep quality for individuals with mild to moderate snoring or sleep apnea, with each session typically lasting around fifteen minutes and requiring no anesthesia. A series of three sessions spaced over approximately six weeks is generally recommended, and the treatment is always assessed in the context of overall medical history and any existing diagnoses related to sleep.

Because every patient’s anatomy, sleep history and medical history are different, NightLase at our Dermapure clinics in Edmonton always begins with a personalized consultation with a physician. Together, you will assess whether NightLase is the most appropriate option for you and discuss a realistic treatment plan, the expected results and the possible side effects. Step 3
Begin Treatment
Your physician will use a laser at the back of your mouth to promote collagen restructuring in the appropriate area. You may feel a heating sensation, but the procedure is often painless.
Step 4
After Treatment
NightLase treatments last approximately 15 minutes and require no downtime, allowing you to return to your normal routine following your appointment.

Follow-Up & Maintenance
