Exfoliating, Oxygenating, and Nourishing Facial Treatment
Offered at your clinic

OxyGeneo Edmonton

OxyGeneo Facial is a three-in-one medical-grade skincare treatment offered at our Dermapure clinics in Edmonton. The protocol uses a proprietary OxyPod and primer gel that interact on the surface of the skin to support exfoliation, oxygenation through the Bohr Effect and infusion of targeted active ingredients in a single non-abrasive session.

OxyGeneo Facial can help address dullness, uneven tone, dehydration, obstructed pores, the appearance of fine lines and oily or congestion-prone skin on the face and neck. The treatment is non-abrasive and suitable for all skin types and tones, including sensitive skin, and can be received on its own as a maintenance step or planned alongside complementary in-clinic options such as other medical-grade skincare protocols.

Because every patient’s skin is different, the OxyGeneo Facial at our Dermapure clinics in Edmonton begins with a skin assessment to tailor the protocol to your needs and any precautions to keep in mind, particularly during pregnancy or in the presence of active skin conditions. OxyGeneo Technology works on three levels:

  1. Exfoliation: OxyGeneo gently removes the upper skin layer, creating CO2 bubbles that penetrate deeper into the skin. This process refreshes the skin surface and assists in the removal of dead skin cells, promoting rejuvenation and enhanced vitality.
  2. Oxygenation: The Bohr Effect is a key part of this process. As CO2 bubbles from the interaction between the capsule and the treatment gel during the exfoliation phase are absorbed into the skin, they trigger a natural physiological response that boosts blood flow to the treated area. This increased circulation brings more oxygen-rich blood to the skin, helping to replace the CO2. Enhanced oxygen delivery improves overall skin health, promotes cellular activity, and revitalizes the skin, making it look healthier and more radiant.
  3. Infusion: As the OxyGeneo Facial progresses through exfoliation and oxygenation, it introduces a range of essential nutrients, vitamins, and active ingredients directly into the skin. This infusion process ensures that active ingredients are delivered effectively, targeting specific skin concerns and enhancing overall skin health. By using the OxyPod to deliver these active ingredients, the treatment nourishes the skin, improving its texture, smoothness, and vitality, resulting in a clearer, smoother complexion.
