Mesotherapy Kelowna

Mesotherapy offered at our Dermapure clinics in Kelowna delivers micro-injections of hyaluronic acid, a substance the body naturally contains to bind water, enriched with active biostimulants, spread across the treated area. By improving the skin’s hydration, firmness and luminosity from within, the treatment supports overall skin quality on the face, neck and hands.

Mesotherapy is most often considered by patients who would like more hydrated, firmer and more luminous skin by improving its overall quality rather than adding volume. What distinguishes it is this skin-quality focus, with the product distributed evenly across the area rather than placed for contour. Mesotherapy can be received on its own or planned alongside other in-clinic treatments such as medical-grade skincare protocols within a broader treatment plan.

Because every patient’s skin, goals and medical history are different, mesotherapy at our Dermapure clinics in Kelowna always begins with a personalized medical consultation with a physician or healthcare professional. Together, you will assess whether mesotherapy is the most appropriate option for you and discuss what a realistic treatment plan could look like, the expected results and the possible side effects. What to Expect During Your Session

Step 1
A Personalized Assessment
Determining your needs is an essential step before undergoing treatment in a clinic. Many aspects are considered, such as age, skin quality, genetics, and the desired results.
Step 2
Baseline Photography
Taking a picture before the treatment allows you to visualize the effects of the treatment and serve as a reference over time.
Step 3
Apply a numbing gel
Applying a lidocaine-based gel to the areas to be treated will numb the skin and make injections more comfortable.
Step 4
Proceed with injections
Begin the treatment with an injection device or manually by the expert. Multiple micro-injections are performed on the treated area for a period of 15 to 30 minutes, depending on the areas being treated.
Step 5
Return to normal activities
It is possible to return to your normal daily activities immediately after the treatment. Minor bleeding, injection site marks, swelling, and bruising may occur, but will subside quickly. No actual downtime is expected.

Follow-Up & Maintenance

We recommend a series of 3 treatments, spaced one month apart. Undergoing a series of treatments also helps to build collagen within the skin. After completing the series, a maintenance treatment every 6 months can help maintain the results.

Contraindications

Women who are pregnant or nursing should postpone this procedure.
