MicroLaserPeel Kelowna

MicroLaserPeel offered at our Dermapure clinics in Kelowna is a laser treatment that removes a thin layer of surface cells damaged by the sun and time, with ultra-precise control of the depth. As new cells replace the ones that are removed, the skin’s texture improves and the complexion looks more even, on the face, neck, décolleté and hands.

MicroLaserPeel is most often considered by patients who would like to improve skin texture, even out the complexion and soften the appearance of sun damage. What distinguishes it is the precise, customizable depth, with most patients seeing improvement once the skin heals in about three to four days. It can be received on its own or planned alongside other in-clinic treatments such as medical-grade skincare protocols within a broader treatment plan.

Because every patient’s skin is different, MicroLaserPeel at our Dermapure clinics in Kelowna begins with a personalized consultation. Together with your specialist, you will assess whether this treatment is the most appropriate option for your skin and discuss what a realistic treatment plan could look like, the expected results and the possible side effects. What to Expect During Your Session

Step 1
Personalized assessment
A meeting prior to the intensive MicroLaserPeel treatment allows you to better understand your expectations and your skin condition and thus build a personalized treatment plan.
Step 2
Taking photographs
Taking pre and post-treatment photographs is an important step, as it allows you to visualize the evolution of your skin condition over the course of the treatments. It is also an opportunity for you to better understand the treatment and to visualize the long-term results.
Step 3
Skin cleaning and disinfection
Carefully removing all traces of gel, makeup and lipid film is an essential step in the treatment of MicroLaserPeel . It is also important to disinfect the skin well in order to create an adequate and sterile canvas for the procedure.
Step 4
Application of an anesthetic gel
Desensitizing the skin with a numbing gel containing lidocaine will reduce the discomfort experienced during treatment. This product is applied and then left on clean skin for approximately 45 minutes before treatment.
Step 5
Treatment by MicroLaserPeel
The doctor will position the laser over the area to be treated and the scanner, assisted by software, will move the laser precisely. Depending on the size of the area to be treated, a treatment can last from 15 to 30 minutes.

Follow-Up & Maintenance

The use of a sunscreen is recommended to protect your skin which will initially be more sensitive, but also to preserve it from premature aging caused by the sun.
