Step 6
Starting the treatment

Step 7
Cleaning and post-treatment specialty products
When your session is over, the gel is removed and your skin is cleansed. To help calm the “warming” sensation felt after treatment and to help protect your skin, a hydrating cream is applied carefully to the entire treatment area, followed by a mineral sunscreen.

Side Effects & Contraindications

The most common are redness, mild swelling and a warm sensation in the treated area, which usually settle within a few hours to a couple of days. Less frequently, temporary changes in skin pigmentation (lighter or darker areas) can occur, particularly on deeper skin tones, along with small blisters, crusting or, rarely, a superficial burn.
