Thermage Longueuil-sur-le-Parc

Tighten and lift your skin naturally with Thermage in Longueuil-sur-le-parc. Experience non-surgical rejuvenation for a youthful glow. Book today.

Thermage uses patented unipolar radiofrequency technology paired with a cooling system that protects the skin's surface layers, an approach designed to keep the treatment comfortable. The radiofrequency pulses travel through the layers of the skin down to the deeper tissue, gently heating the collagen fibres. This controlled heat causes the fibres to contract and helps trigger the body's natural collagen and elastin renewal process, which is what supports firmer, smoother‑looking skin in the months that follow.

Thermage can be used to help tighten lax skin, soften the look of wrinkles and refine body contours, and may temporarily improve the appearance of cellulite. Many people see results after a single session, though results vary from one person to another. The treatment involves little to no downtime, and any temporary reactions, such as mild redness or swelling in the treated area, will be reviewed with you beforehand.

Because every person's skin, goals and medical history are different, Thermage always begins with a personalized consultation. Together with your specialist, you will assess whether Thermage is the most appropriate option for your skin and your goals, and discuss what a realistic treatment plan could look like, the expected results and the possible side effects.

What to expect during your session

Step 1
Personalized assessment
Your skin condition will be assessed to determine if Thermage is right for you. Although each patient is different, Thermage can benefit both men and women, ages 30 to 60, who want to preserve their skin quality and slow the loss of collagen.
Step 2
Mark the area
A temporary grid is transferred onto the skin surface to ensure a consistent, uniform treatment. This grid is used as a guide during the procedure. The forehead, cheeks, jawline, as well as under-chin area are included in a full-face Thermage treatment. Larger body areas for treatment can vary and are assessed according to individual concerns.
Step 3
Apply liquid gel
A thin layer of liquid gel is applied onto the skin to provide comfort and protection of surface layers during the procedure.
Step 4
Start the procedure
The skin is heated using unipolar radiofrequency that stimulates the natural skin regeneration process and kick-starts the production of Type I collagen. Throughout the procedure, the handpiece tip releases alternating bursts of heat and cryogen cooling to soothe and protect the epidermis. The device is also equipped with Comfort Pulse Technology, which creates a gentle vibrating sensation for added comfort. The level of perceived heat effect varies according to treated area. The resulting sensation is sometimes described as being uncomfortable but tolerable.
Step 5
ZWave Treatment
Following a Thermage treatment on a given body area, Dermapure offers you a free treatment using ZWave radial shockwave system. This technology features a unique hand piece that delivers both mechanical and acoustic pulses to the treated body area for a few minutes. The energy heightens metabolic and tissue activity at the skin-strengthening level and promotes collagen regeneration. Depending on the area treated, this improves tissue elasticity and skin firmness and optimizes the appareance of cellulite.
Step 6
Cleaning and removing the grid
Keeping the skin well hydrated is the final step in the treatment. Since Thermage doesn’t create redness or swelling on the treatment area (even when combined with ZWave technology), you can get back to your daily life immediately.
