Exosome Hair Therapy Montreal

Exosome Hair Therapy is a regenerative scalp treatment offered at our Dermapure clinics in Montreal that uses plant-based exosomes, tiny purified vesicles rich in peptides, microRNAs and growth factors. Because exosomes act when the scalp is in an active state of repair, each session includes a stimulation step: either needle-free JetPeel technology, which infuses the exosomes through microdroplets, or microneedling, after which the exosomes are applied topically.

Exosome Hair Therapy is most often considered by patients, women and men alike, who notice gradual thinning or reduced density, whether linked to stress, hormonal changes or the postpartum period. It targets the areas of the scalp that need the most support, such as the temples, the frontal zone, the crown and the hairline. PRP may also be added when appropriate, and a typical plan involves two to six sessions spaced a few weeks apart.

Because every patient’s scalp, hair and goals are different, Exosome Hair Therapy at our Dermapure clinics in Montreal always begins with a personalized consultation. Together with your specialist, you will assess whether this treatment is appropriate for you and discuss a realistic plan, the expected results and any precautions to keep in mind. What to Expect During Your Session

Step 1
Personalized Evaluation
Your first visit begins with a one-on-one consultation with a medical professional. We take the time to explore your hair history, general health, and potential contributing factors such as stress, hormonal fluctuations, or postpartum-related hair loss. This evaluation helps determine the most appropriate regenerative treatment protocol based on your scalp health and hair density.
Step 2
Clinical Photography
To track your progress over time, photos of your scalp are taken from different angles before treatment begins. These clinical images serve as a reference to assess changes in thickness, texture, and overall improvement in targeted areas.
Step 3
Treatment Process
Each session begins with scalp stimulation, designed to gently activate the skin and enhance the effectiveness of the treatment. Depending on your personalized protocol, this step may include targeted microneedling or the use of JetPeel technology. If PRP is part of the plan, a blood draw is performed at the start of the session to isolate the platelet-rich plasma. When JetPeel is used, it delivers the exosomes directly to the targeted areas using high-pressure microdroplets, without needles. This method allows for precise, comfortable and even application. In protocols involving microneedling, the exosomes are applied topically immediately after the stimulation to support the natural regeneration process. PRP can also be combined with either approach when appropriate.
Step 4
Return to Daily Activities
Sessions typically last 45 to 60 minutes and are performed in a calm clinical setting. There is minimal downtime. You may experience mild redness or sensitivity in the treated areas, but this usually subsides within a few hours. You’ll be able to return to your regular activities the same day, without interrupting your routine.

Follow-Up & Maintenance

Exosome Hair Therapy delivers results progressively. Most patients benefit from two to six sessions, spaced a few weeks apart, depending on the severity of thinning and the desired outcome. Once the initial results are achieved, occasional maintenance sessions may be recommended to help maintain scalp balance and support long-term hair density.

Contraindications

This treatment is not recommended in cases of active scalp infections, uncontrolled autoimmune conditions, pregnancy, or active cancer. A full medical consultation is required before beginning any protocol to ensure that Exosome Hair Therapy is safe and appropriate for you. In most cases, the therapy is very well tolerated, thanks to the use of plant-based, biocompatible ingredients applied topically and without needles.
