Morpheus8 Montreal

Smooth, Tighten & Lift the Skin

Morpheus8 is a fractional radiofrequency microneedling treatment offered at our Dermapure clinics in Montreal. Fine microneedles create microscopic punctures in the skin while radiofrequency energy is delivered into the deeper layers, stimulating the production of collagen and elastin. Because the depth of treatment can be adjusted, Morpheus8 can be adapted to different skin types and tones, on the face, the neck, the hands and various areas of the body.

Morpheus8 is most often considered by patients who would like to address fine lines and wrinkles, acne scars, stretch marks, enlarged pores or mild skin laxity along the jawline and under the chin. A session lasts about 30 minutes, with a numbing cream applied beforehand and downtime generally limited to mild redness and swelling for a few days. Depending on your goals, your specialist may recommend Morpheus8 on its own or as part of a personalized plan that pairs it with exosome therapy or medical-grade skincare protocols.

Because every patient's skin, concerns and medical history are different, Morpheus8 at our Dermapure clinics in Montreal always begins with a personalized consultation. Together with your specialist, you will assess whether Morpheus8 is the most appropriate option for your skin and your goals, and discuss what a realistic treatment plan could look like, the expected results, the recovery and the possible side effects. What is Morpheus8?

Morpheus8 uses fractional radiofrequency delivered through fine, insulated microneedles. The microneedles create controlled micro-channels in the skin while the RF energy heats the deeper dermal and sub-dermal layers. Together, they prompt the skin's natural repair process and stimulate collagen remodelling, which gradually smooths, firms and refines the skin. Because the depth and intensity can be adjusted, treatment can be personalized to each area and concern, and it can be used across a wide range of skin types and tones.

What to Expect During Your Session

Personalized assessment

Everything begins with a consultation. Our team reviews your skin quality, your concerns and your goals to determine whether Morpheus8 is appropriate, and to build a plan — including which areas to treat and how many sessions may be recommended.

Before your treatment

Photographs are taken of the areas to be treated. These serve as a reference point so you and your provider can follow how your skin responds over time.

During your treatment

A numbing cream is applied for your comfort before the session begins. The microneedles create precise micro-channels while delivering RF energy to the deeper layers of the skin. A typical session takes about 30 minutes, and most people experience only minimal discomfort.

Recovery

Morpheus8 requires minimal downtime. You may notice mild redness and swelling afterwards, which usually settles within a few days. It's best to avoid strenuous activity and direct sun exposure during the initial recovery period.

Follow-Up & Maintenance

A series of sessions may be recommended for the best outcome. Periodic maintenance sessions can help preserve the benefits over time, with frequency and intensity adjusted to your needs.

Side effects & contraindications

Morpheus8 is minimally invasive and generally well tolerated. The most common effects are temporary redness and mild swelling in the treated area, which usually ease within a few days. As with any skin procedure, it is not suitable for everyone: treatment should be postponed if there are active skin concerns in the area, such as sores, rashes or infections, and it is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Certain skin conditions and histories may also affect your suitability, which is why every treatment is reviewed with you during your consultation before it begins.
