Plasma Outremont
Plasma therapy uses a controlled arc of plasma energy applied to the surface of the skin to create micro-injuries that activate fibroblasts and stimulate collagen production. It is used on the eye contour (upper and lower eyelids), forehead fine lines, around the lips, under the eyes and on several areas of the body.
Because every patient's skin, goals and medical history are different, plasma therapy at our Dermapure Outremont clinic always begins with a personalized consultation with our team. Together, you will assess whether it is the most appropriate option for you and discuss the treatment plan, the expected results and the possible side effects. Healing and aftercare
Mild swelling and redness are common for the first 2–3 days. Carbon crusts will form and fall off naturally within 7 to 10 days. During this time, avoid sun, makeup, and harsh products. Once healed, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily to protect your results.
Our team will guide you through each step, from cleansing to when you can safely resume your normal skin routines. Following your aftercare instructions helps reduce risks like mild hyperpigmentation and ensures a smoother recovery.
Follow-Up & Maintenance
To protect your results, avoid sun exposure for at least 4 to 6 weeks after treatment. Depending on your skin and treatment goals, 2 to 3 sessions may be suggested, spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart. For lasting results, maintenance treatments every six months are often advised.
