Tattoo Removal Ottawa
Laser tattoo removal is a treatment offered at our Dermapure clinics in Ottawa to progressively fade unwanted tattoos. Advanced laser technology delivers short, targeted pulses of energy that are absorbed by the tattoo ink, breaking the pigment into smaller particles that the body gradually eliminates through its natural processes.
Laser tattoo removal is most often considered for unwanted tattoos across various areas of the body. The response depends on factors such as ink colour, ink density, depth, the age of the tattoo and skin type, and several sessions spaced over weeks are typically needed for visible fading. Your specialist will adapt the protocol to each individual tattoo and skin profile to plan a realistic course of treatment.
Because every patient's skin, tattoo and medical history are different, laser tattoo removal at our Dermapure clinics in Ottawa always begins with a personalized consultation. Together with your specialist, you will assess how your skin and tattoo are likely to respond to the treatment and discuss a realistic treatment plan, the expected results and the possible side effects, which will be reviewed in detail during your consultation. It is important to protect the treated area from sun exposure between each session and after the last treatment for a period of two months.
