Offered at your clinic

Sylfirm X Ottawa Wellington Village

Sylfirm X is a non-invasive radiofrequency microneedling treatment offered at our Dermapure Wellington Village clinic. It uses fine needles with two radiofrequency modes (pulsed or continuous, depending on the indication) to address concerns such as pigmentation, melasma, redness, fine lines and skin laxity.

Because every patient's skin and concerns are different, Sylfirm X at our Dermapure Wellington Village clinic always begins with a personalized consultation. Together with your specialist, you will assess whether Sylfirm X is the most appropriate option and discuss the number of sessions, the expected results and the possible side effects.

What to Expect During Your Session

Step 1
Personalized Assessment
You will have a consultation with one of our skilled technicians, who will evaluate your skin and discuss your aesthetic goals to develop a customized treatment plan. Each treatment session will focus on utilizing the Sylfirm X system to effectively address your unique concerns, ensuring optimal results tailored to your needs.
Step 2
Take Pictures
We take photos of your treatment area to add to your patient profile to compare your results over time.
Step 3
Begin Treatment
Your technician will gently move the Dual Wave RF device in a smooth, rhythmic motion over the treatment area. As the ultra-fine microneedles penetrate the skin, you may experience a warming sensation, similar to a gentle heat or tingling feeling.
Step 4
After Treatment
Sylfirm X has little to no associated downtime, although you can expect some redness in the treatment area for 1 to 2 days following the procedure. Patients often notice gradual improvements in their skin over the following weeks as the production of collagen increases and the skin continues to heal and rejuvenate. This natural progression leads to enhanced texture and overall skin quality, allowing for long-lasting results.

Follow-Up & Maintenance

We recommend three to four sessions of Sylfirm X to see significant improvements.
