Botox Kerrisdale

Botox is a prescription injectable treatment and one of the most widely recognized procedures in aesthetic medicine. As a medical act, it is performed under the supervision of a physician or healthcare professional in a clinical setting. Treatment plans are determined on an individual basis, and sessions are typically brief.

Because every patient's anatomy, goals and medical history are different, Botox at our Dermapure Kerrisdale clinic always begins with a personalized consultation with a physician or healthcare professional. Together, you will discuss your concerns, undergo a detailed facial anatomy assessment and review a treatment plan tailored to your specific needs, including the possible side effects, which will be explained in detail during your consultation. What to Expect During Your Session

Step 1
Personalized Assessment
A personalized assessment is essential to help our clinicians understand your needs. During this consultation, we’ll evaluate factors like skin quality and medical conditions, age, and genetics. Your physician or nurse will also discuss your expectations and goals to better align the aesthetic treatment with your priorities.
Step 2
Before & After Photos
Before-and-after photos are valuable for visualizing the effects of your injections. These photos will be part of your patient profile and can serve as a reference when discussing your goals.
Step 3
Proceed with Injections
Your physician or specialized nurse will administer injections of botulinum toxin based on your unique structure. Contact your clinic to learn more about this cosmetic procedure.
Step 4
Resume Normal Activities
Following the treatment, you can immediately return to your regular activities. While downtime is not needed, you may experience mild redness, bruising, or swelling temporarily.

Follow-Up & Maintenance

Depending on your unique needs and goals, we recommend follow-up Botulinum toxin injections every 3 to 6 months. Over time, regular treatments may reduce the frequency and amount of product required to achieve your desired results.

Contraindications

We do not offer Botulinum toxin injections to individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding and individuals with certain neuromuscular disorders. One week before your Botulinum toxin injections, we recommend avoiding aspirin or any other medications containing aspirin.
