Sculptra Kerrisdale
Sculptra is a regenerative injectable treatment that uses poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) to gradually stimulate the body's own collagen production, restoring volume and improving skin texture over time. Unlike traditional dermal fillers that provide immediate volume, Sculptra works progressively, with results developing over 3 to 6 months and lasting up to two years with appropriate maintenance. Treatment areas include the cheeks, jawline, chin, temples, as well as body areas such as the arms, chest and thighs.
Because every patient's anatomy, goals and medical history are different, Sculptra at our Dermapure Kerrisdale clinic always begins with a personalized consultation with a physician or healthcare professional. Together, you will discuss the areas you would like to address, what a realistic treatment plan could look like, the post-treatment massage protocol, and the possible side effects, including temporary swelling, redness and the rare possibility of nodules, which will be reviewed in detail during your consultation.
