Vbeam Laser Vancouver
VBeam Laser is a non-invasive vascular laser treatment that targets redness, visible blood vessels and other vascular conditions in the skin. It uses pulsed dye laser technology, which delivers light energy that is selectively absorbed by hemoglobin in the blood, allowing it to address concerns such as rosacea, broken capillaries, cherry angiomas, red scars and early stretch marks without damaging surrounding tissue.
Because every patient's skin, concerns and medical history are different, VBeam Laser at our Dermapure Kerrisdale clinic always begins with a personalized consultation with our team. Together, you will assess your vascular concerns, discuss what a realistic treatment plan could look like and review the possible side effects, keeping in mind that most patients benefit from a series of sessions for optimal results. Follow-Up & Maintenance
While some visible improvements may appear after just one session, most patients benefit from a series of treatments, typically spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart, for optimal and lasting results. The number of sessions depends on your skin type, the vascular concern being treated, and how your skin responds over time. For certain chronic conditions like rosacea, occasional maintenance sessions may help prolong your results and keep your skin looking clear and balanced. Your provider will guide you with a tailored schedule that supports your long-term skin health.
Contraindications
Vbeam is a safe and well-tolerated treatment for most skin types, but it may not be suitable in certain situations. Your provider will always assess your skin and health history to ensure the treatment is appropriate and risk-free. Vbeam is not recommended if you have active skin infections, rashes, or open wounds in the treatment area, recent sun exposure or tanning (natural or artificial), pregnancy or breastfeeding, as a precautionary measure, use of photosensitizing medications that may increase skin sensitivity and a personal or family history of keloid scarring (to be evaluated individually). Before starting treatment, a thorough medical evaluation is conducted to ensure your safety. At Dermapure, we prioritize a personalized approach to care so every recommendation supports your skin’s unique needs and overall well-being.
