RF Microneedling Surrey

RF Microneedling is a skin regeneration treatment available at Dermapure clinics in Surrey that combines microneedling with radiofrequency to stimulate the production of collagen and elastin. Using a tip fitted with very fine needles, the device creates controlled microperforations while radiofrequency heat is delivered at a targeted depth, initiating the natural skin renewal process. Treated areas can include the face, eyelids, neck, décolleté, as well as body areas such as the abdomen, arms, thighs and knees.

Because every patient's skin, goals and medical history are different, RF Microneedling at our Dermapure clinics in Surrey always begins with a personalized consultation with our team. Together, you will discuss your skin concerns, the area you would like to treat, what a realistic treatment plan could look like, the expected recovery and the possible side effects. What to Expect During Your Session

Step 1
Personalized assessment
A meeting prior to the intensive RF Microneedling treatment allows you to better understand your expectations and your skin condition and thus build a personalized treatment plan.
Step 2
Taking photographs
Taking pre and post-treatment photographs is an important step, as it allows you to visualize the evolution of your skin condition over the course of the treatments. It is also an opportunity for you to better understand the treatment and to visualize the long-term results.
Step 3
Skin cleaning and disinfection
Carefully removing all traces of gel, makeup and lipid film is an essential step in the treatment of RF Microneedling. It is also important to disinfect the skin well in order to create an adequate and sterile canvas for the procedure.
Step 4
Application of an anesthetic gel
Desensitizing the skin with a numbing gel containing lidocaine will reduce the discomfort experienced during treatment. This product is applied and then left on clean skin for approximately 45 minutes before treatment.
Step 5
Treatment by RF Microneedling
The treatment consists of applying the tip to the skin in order to create, with the needles, the skin microperforations, the depth as well as the intensity of the radiofrequency being determined in advance and managed with precision by the device. The movements of the nozzle are precise and regular at all times. The heat emitted by the radiofrequency is simultaneous with the microneedling and presents minimal discomfort. On some more affected regions, the expert may choose to do a 2nd pass in order to obtain better results. After 45 minutes of topical anesthesia, the actual treatment may take 30 to 90 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

Follow-Up & Maintenance

Several sessions, each spaced several weeks apart, may be recommended to achieve the desired goal, depending on your skin condition. Maintaining the results obtained may require several regular treatments.

Contraindications

Pregnant or breastfeeding women should postpone this type of treatment, as should anyone with an active skin infection or immunosuppressive treatment.
