Private Aesthetic Dermatology Toronto

Private Aesthetic Dermatology Service is a medical consultation offered in clinic to provide a personalized assessment of your skin and aesthetic goals. During your appointment, your physician will evaluate your skin, discuss your concerns and recommend a treatment plan tailored to your needs.
The service covers benign growths (skin tags, moles, seborrheic keratoses, milia, xanthelasmas) through minor surgery, cryotherapy or electrocautery, as well as common skin conditions like acne, rosacea, pigmentation concerns and hair loss. It also includes therapeutic neuromodulator injections, mole examinations, and the diagnosis and surgical treatment of skin cancers.
Because every patient is different, the Private Aesthetic Dermatology Service at our Dermapure Don Mills clinic provides dedicated time with a physician to discuss your skin, your aesthetic goals and the treatment options that may suit you best. Book your appointment with our team.

What to Expect During Your Session
You discuss your concern
You explain what you have noticed, how long it has been present, whether it has changed, and what you have already tried. Your medical history and current medications are also reviewed.
Your skin, hair or nails are examined
The dermatologist assesses the area in person to better understand what you are dealing with. If needed, further examination may be recommended to help confirm the diagnosis.
The findings are explained to you
The dermatologist explains what the assessment shows in clear language and answers your questions so you understand the condition and what, if anything, may need attention.
Your course of care is defined
Based on the assessment, your dermatologist explains the appropriate next steps. This may include treatment in clinic, a prescription, monitoring over time, or reassurance that no further care is needed.
Follow-up is planned when needed
Some conditions require ongoing management rather than a single visit. When follow-up is appropriate, the timing and next steps are discussed and planned with you.
After your consultation
What happens next depends on what the assessment found. Some concerns are resolved within the appointment itself. Others are managed over time, with follow-up visits to see how your skin is responding and to adjust the approach.
If a prescription is part of your care, how to use it and what to watch for are explained to you, and the dermatologist remains your point of contact for questions that come up afterwards.
If nothing further is required, that is a result too. Knowing that a lesion does not need action is one of the outcomes this appointment exists to provide.
