Dr. Martina Barton

As an honours graduate from Comenius University’s Medical School, Dr. Barton has been committed to providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages and medical backgrounds for the past two decades. In addition to providing care, her expertise and passion for teaching led her to an academic appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Calgary, where she has been actively involved in shaping the next generation of medical professionals since 2008. 

Dr. Barton's journey in medicine has been defined by her unwavering commitment to patient-centered care. She believes in understanding each patient's unique needs and preferences, forging a collaborative relationship that ensures the best possible outcomes. Driven by a desire to continuously enhance her skills and knowledge, she regularly attends conferences and training courses, including participation in the Allergan Medical Institute. 

In addition to her primary focus on family medicine, Dr. Barton has developed a keen interest in medical aesthetic care. She finds immense satisfaction in helping patients achieve their aesthetic goals, whether it be enhancing natural features or addressing specific concerns. Integrating aesthetics into her practice has not only expanded her treatment options but also provided innovative solutions for certain medical conditions.
