SculpSure
SculpSure is a body contouring treatment that permanently eliminates body fat without surgery by using the world’s first Health Canada-approved laser device for non-surgical fat reduction. As an alternative to liposuction, SculpSure can treat and target stubborn fat pockets that may be resistant to healthy diet and regular exercise. Our patients can receive these cosmetic procedures under the chin, on the abdomen, flanks, back, and inner and outer thighs. Stubborn fat pockets are effectively eliminated without surgery or downtime.
Using a 1060nm wavelength laser technology, SculpSure targets adipose tissue with minimal absorption in the dermis, allowing for precise fat reduction. Throughout the session, you’ll experience a gradual increase in heat, followed by Contact Cooling to keep the skin comfortable. This cooling feature provides a continuous burst of cool air, helping to reduce any discomfort during the treatment.
While SculpSure offers effective fat reduction and body contouring treatment, it’s important to note that it is not a substitute for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The non-invasive treatment is best used as a complement to a balanced diet and regular exercise rather than a replacement for them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is SculpSure an effective treatment for fat reduction?
What are the disadvantages of SculpSure?
- Results Take Time: You may need to wait up to 3-6 months to see the full results of your treatment.
- Multiple Sessions Required: Many people need 1-2 treatments sessions or more, spaced about two months apart, to achieve their desired outcome.
- Candidate Limitations: It’s most effective for individuals who are within 30 pounds of their ideal weight or have a body mass index (BMI) of 30 or less.
- Surgical Comparison: Results from SculpSure are generally less dramatic than those achieved with surgical fat reduction methods, such as liposuction. While SculpSure is effective, it doesn't match the immediate and significant fat reduction provided by surgical procedures.
- Minor Discomfort: During treatment, you might experience a slight warming sensation, along with some pinching or tingling, though no numbing agent is required.
- Post-Treatment Sensitivity: After the fat reduction procedure, you could experience soreness, stiffness, or bruising in the treated areas. Massaging the area as advised by your practitioner can help with tissue firmness and overall comfort.
