Venus Legacy / Venus Freeze combines multipolar radiofrequency with pulsed electromagnetic fields. The radiofrequency warms the deeper layers to tighten existing collagen and stimulate the skin to build new collagen and elastin, while the magnetic pulses support circulation and help target fat stores and the look of cellulite. A metal applicator glides continuously over the skin to spread the heat evenly, and the temperature is monitored throughout for comfort. Carried out over a series of sessions, it can be used on both the face and the body.
EMTONE
EMTONE pairs radiofrequency with targeted mechanical pressure. The radiofrequency heats the deeper layers to stimulate new collagen and elastin and improve firmness, while rapid mechanical pulses work on the fibrous bands linked to the dimpled look of cellulite and support circulation and lymphatic drainage. This dual action smooths and firms the skin from within rather than reducing fat. Sessions are short, usually around 20 minutes, and a typical plan involves a series of treatments spaced over a few weeks. It is used on areas such as the thighs, buttocks, hips, abdomen and upper arms.
VelaShape 3
VelaShape 3 combines bipolar radiofrequency with infrared light and gentle vacuum suction.The radiofrequency and infrared light warm the deeper layers to stimulate collagen and elastin, while the gentle suction and built-in massage rollers bring the skin closer to the energy and support circulation. Together, they firm the skin, refine contours and reduce the appearance of cellulite. A session usually lasts 30 to 45 minutes, and the treatment is used on areas such as the thighs, buttocks, abdomen, arms, neck and flanks.
Follow-up and Maintenance
Multipolar RF works progressively: as your body builds new collagen, firmness and texture keep improving in the weeks and months after each session. These results are not permanent, since your skin keeps aging and your body composition changes over time. To preserve them, maintenance sessions are often recommended, for example with the change of season or every few months. Side Effects & Contraindications
Multipolar RF is generally well tolerated, and most effects are mild and temporary.
- Common reactions: a warm sensation during treatment and temporary redness afterward, which usually settles within a few hours; mild swelling is also possible.
- Less common: a more pronounced or longer-lasting sensitivity and, rarely, a superficial burn or blister.
- Not recommended for: people who are pregnant or breastfeeding; those with a cardiac pacemaker or another active implanted device; or where there are metal implants, active infections, open wounds or unhealed scars in the treatment area. Some devices are also not advised for people with epilepsy, or for facial treatment in people with rosacea.
