VAMP Calgary
PDRN Salmon DNA Facial
VAMP is a topical regenerative treatment applied immediately after in-clinic procedures that create controlled micro-openings in the skin, such as microneedling, RF microneedling or laser treatments. Its key ingredient, PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotides), is a DNA compound derived from salmon that supports the skin's natural repair and renewal processes, complemented by hydrating hyaluronic acid and essential amino acids.
Because VAMP is designed to complement a primary treatment, your experience at our Dermapure Chaparral clinic begins with a personalized consultation to determine which combination is best suited to your skin, your concerns and your goals. Together with your specialist, you will assess whether VAMP is the right complement for your treatment plan and discuss the expected results and the possible side effects, which will be reviewed in detail during your consultation. Follow-Up & Maintenance
VAMP is typically recommended as part of a treatment series to support progressive skin improvement. Depending on your goals, a personalized in-clinic plan may be recommended, including multiple sessions spaced over several weeks. Maintenance treatments can also be scheduled periodically to help sustain hydration, elasticity, and overall skin quality over time.
Contraindications
VAMP is well tolerated for most patients when applied post-procedure. However, it is not recommended for patients with known allergies to fish-derived ingredients (PDRN is sourced from salmon DNA); individuals with active infections or open wounds in the treatment area and pregnant or breastfeeding individuals (as a precaution).
