VAMP
PDRN Salmon DNA Facial
VAMP is a topical regenerative treatment applied immediately after in-clinic procedures that gently impact the skin barrier, such as microneedling, RF microneedling or laser treatments. These techniques create microchannels in the skin, allowing active ingredients to be more readily absorbed. VAMP takes advantage of this optimal moment to deliver its performance-driven formula beneath the surface, where it can be most beneficial.
Its star ingredient, PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotides), is a DNA compound derived from salmon, known in regenerative medicine for its supportive role in skin repair and renewal. With a 96.5% similarity to human DNA, PDRN is well-recognized by skin cells and helps stimulate key biological processes, including the production of collagen and elastin.
Unlike volumizing treatments, VAMP doesn’t alter facial contours—it works in harmony with the skin’s natural functions. Its formula also includes hydrating hyaluronic acid and four essential amino acids, such as glycine and proline, which contribute to skin resilience and collagen support.
Used after professional treatments, VAMP helps support visible improvements in hydration, texture, and overall skin quality. It’s particularly suited for skin showing signs of dullness, dehydration, uneven tone, or temporary sensitivity following advanced procedures.

Follow-Up & Maintenance
VAMP is typically recommended as part of a treatment series to support progressive skin improvement. Depending on your goals, a personalized in-clinic plan may be recommended, including multiple sessions spaced over several weeks. Maintenance treatments can also be scheduled periodically to help sustain hydration, elasticity, and overall skin quality over time.
Contraindications
VAMP is well tolerated for most patients when applied post-procedure. However, it is not recommended for patients with known allergies to fish-derived ingredients (PDRN is sourced from salmon DNA); individuals with active infections or open wounds in the treatment area and pregnant or breastfeeding individuals (as a precaution).
Frequently Asked Questions
What Is PDRN and Why Is Salmon DNA Used?
How Does PDRN Work in the Skin?
Can PDRN be injected in Canada?
No. While injectable PDRN treatments (like Rejuran) are available in countries such as South Korea, Health Canada does not currently authorize the injectable use of PDRN-based products. At our clinics, PDRN is used topically only, applied immediately after treatments that create microchannels in the skin. This method complies with Canadian regulations and still allows the active ingredient to be absorbed effectively after treatment.
