VAMP Edmonton Downtown

PDRN Salmon DNA Facial

VAMP, also known as the PDRN salmon DNA facial, is a topical regenerative treatment applied to the skin immediately after in-clinic procedures that create temporary micro-channels, such as microneedling, RF microneedling or laser. Its key ingredient is PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotides), a DNA compound derived from salmon used in regenerative skincare to support skin repair and renewal.

Because VAMP is offered as a complement to in-clinic procedures such as microneedling, RF microneedling or laser, the right combination depends on your skin, your goals and the procedure performed. At our Downtown Edmonton clinic, your specialist will assess whether VAMP is an appropriate addition to your treatment plan and tailor the protocol to your needs. What to Expect During Your Session

Step 1
Personalized Assessment
Every treatment begins with an in-depth consultation with a medical aesthetic expert. Your skin is evaluated to determine if VAMP is the right complement to your microneedling, RF microneedling, or laser treatment.
Step 2
In-Clinic Procedure
Your selected skin treatment is performed to create controlled microchannels in the skin, optimizing absorption. VAMP is applied immediately afterward to deliver active ingredients directly into the deeper layers of the skin.
Step 3
Post-Treatment Protocol
Following the procedure, your expert will guide you through proper post-care recommendations to support healing and maximize results. This may include avoiding certain products, sun exposure, or makeup for a short period.
Step 4
Progressive Improvement
Over the days and weeks following your session, the skin gradually appears more hydrated, even-toned, and resilient. Depending on your goals, your expert may recommend a series of sessions for optimal, long-term results.

Follow-Up & Maintenance

VAMP is typically recommended as part of a treatment series to support progressive skin improvement. Depending on your goals, a personalized in-clinic plan may be recommended, including multiple sessions spaced over several weeks. Maintenance treatments can also be scheduled periodically to help sustain hydration, elasticity, and overall skin quality over time.

Contraindications

VAMP is well tolerated for most patients when applied post-procedure. However, it is not recommended for patients with known allergies to fish-derived ingredients (PDRN is sourced from salmon DNA); individuals with active infections or open wounds in the treatment area and pregnant or breastfeeding individuals (as a precaution).
