HALO Hybrid Fractional Laser Edmonton South
HALO Hybrid Fractional Laser is a skin resurfacing treatment that delivers two laser wavelengths, non-ablative (1470 nm) and ablative (2940 nm), to the same microscopic treatment zone. This hybrid approach stimulates the skin's natural healing response to visibly improve tone, texture and clarity while addressing concerns such as fine lines, sun damage, enlarged pores, scarring and uneven pigmentation. HALO can be used on the face as well as off-face areas including the neck, chest, arms and hands.
Because every patient's skin, concerns and goals are different, HALO Hybrid Fractional Laser at our South Edmonton clinic always begins with a personalized consultation. Together with your specialist, you will assess whether HALO is the most appropriate option for your skin and discuss what a realistic treatment plan could look like, the expected results and the possible side effects. Follow-Up & Maintenance
You can have one or two deeper treatments or have multiple treatments that are less aggressive and achieve a similar goal over a longer period of time. You will see initial results between day 2 and 5 after your Halo treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time. Most patients see the greatest improvement in the first 2 to 3 weeks.* For the first 24 hours, you should keep your skin protected according to post-treatment recommendations, but after that you can resume your normal activities. After the first 24 hours, your skin will begin to peel, but you willbe able to put on makeup. Prolong your results by keeping your healthy skin protected with sunscreen daily. *Individual results may vary.
Contraindications
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should delay this type of treatment, as well as anyone who has received Accutane treatment in the past 6 months. Patients who have been exposed to the sun without sun protection within 7 days before the treatment date will have to delay the treatment.
