HALO Hybrid Fractional Laser West Edmonton
HALO is a hybrid fractional laser that combines two wavelengths in a single treatment to address both the superficial and deeper layers of the skin simultaneously. By delivering ablative and non-ablative energy in one pass, HALO targets sun damage, uneven tone, enlarged pores, fine lines and overall texture for a comprehensive skin resurfacing treatment.
Because every patient's skin, concerns and medical history are different, the HALO hybrid fractional laser at our Dermapure West Edmonton clinic always begins with a personalized consultation. Together with your specialist, you will assess whether HALO is the most appropriate option for your skin and your goals and discuss what a realistic treatment plan could look like, the expected results and the possible side effects. Follow-Up & Maintenance
You can have one or two deeper treatments or have multiple treatments that are less aggressive and achieve a similar goal over a longer period of time. You will see initial results between day 2 and 5 after your Halo treatment, but your skin will continue to improve over time. Most patients see the greatest improvement in the first 2 to 3 weeks.* For the first 24 hours, you should keep your skin protected according to post-treatment recommendations, but after that you can resume your normal activities. After the first 24 hours, your skin will begin to peel, but you willbe able to put on makeup. Prolong your results by keeping your healthy skin protected with sunscreen daily. *Individual results may vary.
Contraindications
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should delay this type of treatment, as well as anyone who has received Accutane treatment in the past 6 months. Patients who have been exposed to the sun without sun protection within 7 days before the treatment date will have to delay the treatment.
