Dr. Roni Munk, a Cosmetic Dermatologist with a focus in Aesthetic Medicine and founder of MunkMD, brings a comprehensive academic and professional background to Dermapure Westmount. His academic journey began at McGill University, where he excelled in the premedical program and earned his medical degree in 2008. Dr. Munk's passion for dermatology led him to complete a 5-year residency at McGill, where he also received the 'resident teacher of the year' award in 2013. Following his residency, he pursued a fellowship in Cosmetic and Laser Dermatology at the University of Ottawa. Professionally, Dr. Munk is a Fellow of both the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the American Board of Dermatology. In 2014, he established MunkMD, focusing on medical and cosmetic dermatology, specializing in skin rejuvenation, restoration, and maintenance. Dr. Munk is particularly recognized for his expertise in MD Codes, a technique he mastered under Dr. Mauricio De Maio. He became an MD codes trainer for Allergan in 2021, contributing significantly to the education of injectors across Canada.
