Add-on treatments are not usually performed on their own. They work together with your other care to help you get more from it. At Dermapure, they fall into two broad roles. Regenerative add-ons are applied with or after a procedure to support recovery and help your results develop over time. A preparatory add-on is performed before a treatment to ready your skin, so what follows can work more effectively. Exosome Therapy
Exosome therapy is a topical add-on applied to the skin immediately after a treatment that creates micro-channels, such as microneedling, laser or other energy-based procedures, which help support its absorption into the upper layers of the skin. Using plant-based exosomes, it is used to support post-treatment recovery and help reduce redness and downtime. Topical exosome use is approved by Health Canada.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
Platelet-Rich Plasma uses your own blood, processed in a centrifuge to concentrate the platelets and the growth factors they contain. It can be delivered through microinjections, with microneedling, or with a blunt-tip microcannula for delicate areas such as the under-eyes, on the face, neck and décolleté. It is often planned alongside other in-clinic treatments, such as dermal fillers or RF microneedling, within a broader treatment plan.
VAMP
VAMP is a topical regenerative facial built around PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotides), a DNA compound derived from salmon, combined with hyaluronic acid and amino acids. It is applied after procedures that create micro-channels, such as microneedling, RF microneedling or laser, and is used to support skin showing dullness, dehydration or temporary sensitivity.
Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)
Platelet-Rich Fibrin is also drawn from your own blood, but it is spun at low speed and without additives to form a soft fibrin matrix rich in platelets and growth factors. Delivered through microneedling or fine injections, it is used to support areas such as under-eye hollows, the cheeks and early signs of skin laxity. Compared with PRP, it works more gradually and its effect lasts longer.

PRP for Hair Loss
Platelet-Rich Plasma for hair loss concentrates the growth factors from your own blood and delivers them into the scalp, where they are used to support dormant hair follicles. It is an option for thinning hair and early hair loss in both men and women, and is typically performed as a series of sessions.
Exosome Hair Therapy
Exosome Hair Therapy is a regenerative scalp protocol that pairs plant-based exosomes with a controlled stimulation step, often a needle-free JetPeel infusion or microneedling, and may be combined with PRP. The exosomes are applied topically to support the scalp’s ability to maintain healthy, resilient hair.
DE|RIVE Hair Wellness System
The DE|RIVE Hair Wellness System combines an in-clinic scalp treatment with an at-home daily regimen to support scalp health and hair. In clinic, a concentrated scalp serum is applied; at home, a daily routine of serum, shampoo and leave-in conditioner helps extend the results between visits.
Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) for Hair
Platelet-Rich Fibrin can also be used on the scalp, where its slow-release matrix of platelets and growth factors helps support areas of thinning hair. It draws on the same low-speed, additive-free process as facial PRF.

This add-on is performed before another treatment to prepare the skin so that what follows can work more effectively.
Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is an exfoliation technique that uses a sterile surgical blade to gently remove dead skin cells and fine facial hair. Beyond leaving the skin smooth, it prepares the surface so that a treatment performed afterward, such as a medical-grade facial or photorejuvenation, can work more effectively. It suits most skin types, with the exception of very oily or actively breaking-out skin.
