Dr. Erin Hibbitts

Dr. Erin Hibbitts is a Family Medicine Physician and Medical Director at Dermapure YMM Fort McMurray and Dermapure Canmore. She has always had a strong interest in dermatology and performing minor office procedures, and these areas were a regular part of her family practice long before she formally entered the aesthetics field.

Dr. Hibbitts completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a minor in Biochemistry at the University of Northern British Columbia and was part of the inaugural class of the Northern Medical Program. In 2012, she undertook her initial training in aesthetic injectables, which marked the start of her focused work in cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic medicine. In 2017 she completed a postgraduate Diploma of Practical Dermatology with distinction through the University of Cardiff, along with their Dermoscopy Certificate. For a five year time span, she also accepted referrals from other family physicians for medical dermatology concerns.

As an injector, Dr. Hibbitts is known for her conservative, thoughtful approach. She prioritizes natural-looking results and will never recommend a treatment if she does not feel it is truly in her patient’s best interest. Every treatment plan is developed collaboratively, ensuring patients fully understand their options and feel confident and comfortable with the plan moving forward.

Dr. Hibbitts believes that injectables are just one part of achieving beautiful, balanced and lasting aesthetic outcomes. She takes a comprehensive approach to skin health, incorporating high-quality medical-grade skincare and complementary treatments to support long-term results.
