EMSculpt
EMSculpt is a non-invasive treatment that is focused on contouring the body through patented technology. This cosmetic procedure reduces fat cells and builds muscle without the need for diet, intense workout, or plastic surgery. While EMSculpt isn’t a replacement for the health benefits of training or a healthy diet, it can help you achieve your body goals faster.
In certain clinics, a similar technology called Electone is available. Based on the same principle of induced muscle contractions, Electone offers another non-invasive option to tone and firm targeted areas. Our professionals will guide you toward the most suitable solution depending on your needs and the technology offered at your clinic.
EMSculpt uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy to create supramaximal muscle contractions six times in the treatment area. In between each application, the machine delivers numerous intervals of mechanical massage. This breaks down lactic acid to reduce muscle soreness after this intensive workout.
Unlike voluntary muscle contractions, which can only be sustained briefly, EMSculpt treatment maintains a higher intensity than is achievable through regular exercise. For example, one 30-minute session is equivalent to doing 20,000 sit-ups. This intense stimulation leads to muscle hypertrophy and hyperplasia, resulting in an increase in muscle thickness and the creation of new muscle fibers.
