Forehead injections are a non-surgical way to soften facial wrinkles and bring a more rested, refreshed look to your face. Over the years, repeated facial movements like raising your eyebrows or frowning create visible forehead wrinkles and glabellar lines, the vertical creases between the eyebrows. These lines are known as dynamic wrinkles because they’re caused by muscle contractions beneath the skin. When we’re younger, the skin bounces back easily thanks to strong levels of collagen and elastin. But starting around age 25, the body begins to produce about 1% less collagen each year. With time, this natural decline makes it harder for the skin to recover fully after each expression. The result: fine lines become more permanent, even when the face is at rest.
This treatment works by gently calming the muscle activity that causes those lines to deepen. Wrinkle relaxers are precisely injected into targeted areas of the forehead and glabella, allowing the skin to rest and gradually appear smoother. The goal is not to erase every line or block expression. It’s to reduce the intensity of repeated movement in a way that still feels natural. The result is a more relaxed appearance, without looking frozen or overdone. Most people notice visible improvements within a few days, with no need for downtime.
Forehead injections are often combined with treatment in other key areas of the face. Lines around the eyes, known as crow’s feet, or along the sides of the nose, called bunny lines, can also be softened with the same approach. Once your plan is established, the treatment itself is quick and comfortable. A numbing cream may be applied beforehand to reduce sensitivity. Using a very fine needle, your injector will perform a series of small, precise injections into the muscles responsible for forehead and frown lines. The technique is adapted to your facial dynamics to preserve natural movement. The procedure typically takes between 15 and 30 minutes. Most patients describe only minimal discomfort, similar to a light pinch.
There is little to no downtime after forehead injections. You can return to your usual activities right away. Some redness, swelling or small marks may appear at the injection sites, but these effects are temporary and often fade within a few hours. In some cases, mild bruising may occur and can be easily covered with makeup the next day. To support the best results, we recommend avoiding intense physical activity, alcohol and lying flat for the first few hours after treatment.

Wrinkle relaxers typically begin to take effect within a few days, with full results visible around two weeks. The forehead looks smoother, more relaxed and naturally refreshed, without freezing facial movement. Results generally last three to six months, and maintenance treatments are recommended to help preserve your results over time.
Treatment is not recommended for individuals who have active skin infections or inflammation in the forehead area; are pregnant or breastfeeding; have certain medical conditions or allergies (discussed during consultation) and are currently taking blood thinners (must be evaluated by your healthcare provider).
Forehead injections target the most common areas where facial lines appear. Horizontal forehead lines are treated to smooth the upper face. Glabellar lines, or frown lines between the eyebrows, are softened to reduce the look of tension. Injections near the brows can also create a subtle lifting effect, helping the eyes appear more open and refreshed.
