    Proven Results

Dermapure has qualified physicians, nurses and skin experts  with years of experience dedicated to delivering exceptional results. Their practices and methods align with our philosophy to provide a natural look. Therefore, microneedling treatments are customized to the individual to offer solutions for various skin concerns, like fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars.

Results vary for each individual. Images are for illustrative purposes only and showcase the potential of microneedling treatments. They do not guarantee results.

    Treatment & technology

    Traitement de microneedling

Microneedling uses a single-use tip with very fine sterile needles to create microperforations at different depths in the skin – depending on the area being treated – in a controlled and precise manner.

This activates the skin’s natural regenerative process and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, while allowing the skin to better permeate the professional serums used after the treatment.

With minimal downtime between 24 and 48 hours, microneedling helps to reduce acne scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, fine lines, enlarged pores, photo damage, pigmentation, and uneven skin texture.

Optimal results can be seen 4 to 6 weeks or 2 to 3 months following the procedure, depending on the frequency and intensity of the treatments received.

Continuing treatment on a regular basis increases the overall result and alternating microneedling with other skin rejuvenation treatments is recommended.

At Dermapure, we use different microneedling platforms, safe and approved by Health Canada, such as Scarlet®, EndyMed Intensive®, SkinPen®, and CosmoPen®.

    Personalized Assessment

A meeting prior to the microneedling treatment allows us to better understand your expectations as well as your skin condition and to build a personalized treatment plan.

    Take Pictures

Taking pre- and post-treatment pictures is an important step as it allows you to visualize the evolution of your skin condition over the course of the treatments. It is also an opportunity for you to better understand the treatment and to visualize the long-term results.

    Clean and Disinfect the Skin

Carefully removing all traces of gel, make-up and oil film is an essential step in the microneedling treatment. It is also important to thoroughly disinfect the skin in order to create an adequate and sterile canvas for the procedure.

    Apply a Numbing Gel

Desensitizing the skin with a lidocaine-based anesthetic gel will reduce the discomfort felt during treatment. This product is applied and left on clean skin for about 45 minutes before treatment.

    Microneedling Treatment

The treatment consists of applying the single-use tip with light pressure to the skin for the needles to cause micro-injuries that stimulate your body’s natural repair process.
The movements of the tip are controlled and precise. An overlapping of the tip between each pass ensures that the tip passes over all areas to be treated, with no gaps between them. On certain more affected areas, the technician may choose to make a second pass to obtain more results.
After the 45-minute topical anesthesia application, the treatment itself can take between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

    Follow-up and maintenance
