Microneedling uses a single-use tip with very fine sterile needles to create microperforations at different depths in the skin – depending on the area being treated – in a controlled and precise manner.
This activates the skin’s natural regenerative process and stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, while allowing the skin to better permeate the professional serums used after the treatment.
With minimal downtime between 24 and 48 hours, microneedling helps to reduce acne scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, fine lines, enlarged pores, photo damage, pigmentation, and uneven skin texture.
Optimal results can be seen 4 to 6 weeks or 2 to 3 months following the procedure, depending on the frequency and intensity of the treatments received.
Continuing treatment on a regular basis increases the overall result and alternating microneedling with other skin rejuvenation treatments is recommended.

On certain more affected areas, the technician may choose to make a second pass to obtain more results. After the 45-minute topical anesthesia application, the treatment itself can take between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

A series of treatments spaced appropriately apart may be recommended based on your skin condition and individual goals. Maintenance of your treatment may require multiple treatments.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid this type of treatment, as should anyone with an active or immunosuppressive skin infection.
