PRP injections at our West Edmonton clinic provide a natural way to restore skin health and radiance. PRP injections encourage collagen and elastin production, addressing signs of aging, scarring, and uneven skin texture.

In West Edmonton, PRP injections are a safe and effective choice for achieving youthful, glowing skin. This minimally invasive procedure fits seamlessly into your routine.

Proven Results

Dermapure relies on a team of highly qualified and experienced physicians whose practice and methods align with our philosophy: achieving a natural look.

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) can help stimulate skin cell growth and improve skin texture. Individual responses to treatment can vary. Images provided serve for illustrative purposes only and do not guarantee specific results.

What to expect

prp-deroulement-seance Call | 587.414.6683

A meeting prior to the Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment allows us to better understand your expectations as well as your skin condition and to build a personalized treatment plan.

Pictures taken before the procedure help provide a better view and understanding of the areas affected by the loss of volume and can be used when discussing your goals with the physician. When compared to your “After” pictures, they are an effective way to see the results of the treatment and will be used as a reference over time.

Collecting a small amount of blood is the first step of the treatment. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge to extract the platelet-rich plasma.

Carefully removing all traces of gel, makeup and oil film is an essential step in the microneedling treatment. It is also important to thoroughly disinfect the skin to create an adequate and sterile canvas for the procedure.

Plasma is then injected directly into the skin using the microneedling technique. The session lasts between 30 and 45 minutes in general.

Post-treatment procedures are applied and post-treatment recommendations carefully explained to ensure optimal recovery and results.

Reviews

After coming from another clinic with poor results I was very anxious and nervous to find a new practitioner. I struggled with being confident with my smile. I came in looking for treatment for my gummy smile and a ‘my lip but better look.’ I am a thousand percent happy with my results! Dr Panesar is extremely experienced and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process!

I have had nothing but amazing experiences here with both Dr. Panesar and her admin team -Amelia and Jen, and the laser techs/nurses- Shafina and Reanne. They make you feel so welcome and comfortable and I’ve had great results with their treatments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Following a Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment, you can expect between 12 and 24 hours of redness and a minor edema generally dissipating within a few hours. Makeup can be used on the skin the day following the procedure.

For most patients, results are visible following the first treatment, but full results appear progressively over a few weeks.

The reconstructive benefits of the Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatment are considered permanent and long-lasting. That being said, this treatment does not stop the internal biological clock and the normal aging of skin. Therefore, an annual or biannual maintenance might be recommended to prevent the effects of time.
