As an aesthetics physician for over five years, Dr. Lo brings a wealth of diverse knowledge and experience to the Dermapure Team. Dr. Lo is a resident injector at our sister clinic Project Skin. We are delighted to have him add a few days per month at our Dermapure Vancouver location.
Dr. Lo specializes in full facial restoration and prides himself in creating natural and individualized results. With a keen aesthetic eye and meticulous attention to detail, he understands the importance of working with his patient’s natural anatomy and appreciates the unique beauty standards across different ethnic groups. A respected expert in his field, Dr. Lo is constantly refining his skills and has been mentored by some of the top dermatologists and plastic surgeons in the industry.
Dr. Lo completed his medical and family medicine residency training at the University of British Columbia. Following his graduation, he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology with honours from Cardiff University in Wales, UK.
Dr. Lo is an active board member of the Primary Care Dermatology Society of Canada and remains committed to his ongoing education in dermatology- constantly ahead of new advancements in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
Prior to his medical career, he was a registered dietitian with the College of Dietitians of BC. He is tri-lingual – fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin and has a busy aesthetics practice in the city of Richmond. Dr. Lo is also a published author; his work has been published in both the Journal of Cutaneous Medicine and the Surgery Journal of Current Clinical Care. He is an avid horror movie fan and likes to bake banana cakes.
