*The position is based at the head office in Montreal*

Reporting to the Vice President, Products Division, the incumbent will be responsible for increasing the visibility of our Functionalab brand within our medical aesthetic clinics and participating in the development of the website.

Responsibilities – 

Marketing 

  • Participate in the deployment of the annual 360° marketing plan and ensure its implementation;
  • Develop and adapt sales and marketing meeting presentations, in collaboration with the R&D and Training teams, in French and English, with all necessary details;
  • Update existing marketing tools based on product launches and strategic priorities;
  • Conduct benchmarks guided by product development needs and synthesize information in a clear and actionable manner;
  • Manage the reverse planning of initiatives to meet deadlines.

Public Relations and Influencer Program 

  • Monitor public relations activities with various departments and partners (project management, coordination of creative mailings);
  • Propose creative concepts to support launches and mailings to the media or influencers;
  • Report on PR activities and analyze the results obtained;
  • Recruit new UGC profiles and manage partnerships with influencers.

Digital marketing and e-commerce

  • Participate in community growth and increased engagement on social media;
  • Contribute to the production, writing, translation, and publication of content (social media, blogs, newsletters);
  • Participate in the development of the content calendar (organic, ads, newsletters) and collaborate with the studio for the delivery of visuals;
  • Coordinate contests and digital partnerships with brands;
  • Update web content: images, editorial texts, general information, and product descriptions;
  • Follow up on orders placed on the website;
  • Compile and analyze digital performance data (Google Analytics, traffic KPIs, acquisition, conversion, retention) and prepare monthly reports;
  • Ensure that our promotions, price changes, and images are applied to the e-commerce sites of Dermapure and our authorized partners.

E-commerce customer service

  • Customer service for websites and social media;
  • Marketing inventory management (customer service, public relations, etc.).

Participate in all initiatives related to the growth and deployment of the Functionalab brand.

Qualifications – 

  • Have 1 to 2 years of experience in marketing or public relations in the cosmetics industry;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communications;
  • Experience in public relations and with influencers is a major asset;
  • Knowledge of the cosmetics market;
  • Strong writing skills and creativity in French and English;
  • Fluency in spoken English and French;
  • Attention to detail, good work organization, and backward planning;
  • Creative mind and curiosity;

  • Conducting Assessments: Meet with patients during their first visit to identify their needs. Answer their questions and explain the different options available for their conditions. Create a treatment plan based on their expectations and recommend complementary at-home care. Consolidate the recommendations during follow-up appointments.
  • Assist the Doctor during Procedures: Provide medical assistance for various surgical techniques. Review the patient’s needs. Prepare the necessary instruments, materials, or supplies. Clean the patient’s skin. Offer support to patients before, during, and after treatment. Keep clinical notes up to date, accurately and in detail in the client’s file. Guide the patient by suggesting additional treatments appropriate to their condition, based on the ongoing treatment.

  • Follow-up Calls after Assessments or Treatments: Return calls daily and address any questions or concerns from patients. Follow up after assessments, invasive treatments, or to review certain applications.

The Position

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform non-surgical aesthetic procedures, including neuromodulator injections (e.g., Botox), dermal fillers, PRP, laser treatments, and other rejuvenating therapies.
• Conduct thorough consultations, assess patient needs and expectations, and create customized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with all legal and regulatory guidelines.
• Stay up to date on emerging trends, techniques, and technologies in the medical aesthetics field.
• Collaborate closely with nurses, medical aestheticians, and clinic directors to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Educate patients on post-treatment care and maintenance to support long-lasting results.

Qualifications:
• Medical degree (MD) and active license to practice medicine in the province in which the clinic is located.
