You may experience mild sensitivity and redness for 24-48 hours after treatment. Depending on the original state of your skin, you may experience light peeling that will typically start on day 3 and last for 2-3 days. If peeling occurs, do not peel the skin but simply hydrate it properly. It will speed up the healing process and reveal beautiful, fresh skin. Chemical Peels are a skin maintenance treatment. For optimal results, treatments should be scheduled every change of season.
Pregnant or breast-feeding women should postpone treatment. Particular attention is necessary for individuals with very sensitive skin and naturally darker skin types V and VI.
