At Dermapure Penticton, the Plasma treatment uses plasma energy to create controlled thermal micro-lesions on the skin’s surface. This triggers a tightening effect and stimulates collagen production in the upper dermis.
Similar to a non-surgical blepharoplasty, this non-invasive treatment gently firms and smooths the skin of the eyelids, offering a natural, rejuvenating lift around the eyes.
Because the treatment is intensive, it’s important to plan for a recovery period of 7 to 10 days. Redness, swelling, and the appearance of carbon crusts on the treated areas are expected and are part of the skin’s natural healing process. These effects may be noticeable, but they indicate that tissue regeneration is actively underway. Your skin is working to renew itself and achieve the desired aesthetic goals.
To ease recovery and support your skin’s repair process, the treatment can be paired with exosome therapy. Exosomes are powerful skin messengers derived from stem cells that help calm inflammation, accelerate tissue recovery, and improve overall comfort during the healing period. Their soothing effect makes the post-treatment experience more manageable, while promoting wound healing and contributing to stronger, more resilient skin over time.

The area being treated is cleansed and prepped with a topical anesthetic or numbing cream. Once numb, the skin is disinfected to ensure a clean and controlled environment.
A specialized plasma pen is used to create precise micro-lesions without touching the skin. You may feel a hot current or warmth—this is normal and part of how plasma fibroblast therapy activates healing.
After treatment, the skin is gently cleansed and may be nourished with Functionalab’s Pro-Collagen Serum and Pre/Post-Treatment 2 Cream to support tissue regeneration. In certain cases, exosome therapy can be added as an optional step to help calm inflammation and accelerate tissue recovery.
Mild swelling and redness are common for the first 2–3 days. Carbon crusts will form and fall off naturally within 7 to 10 days. During this time, avoid sun, makeup, and harsh products. Once healed, apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen daily to protect your results. Our team will guide you through each step, from cleansing to when you can safely resume your normal skin routines. Following your aftercare instructions helps reduce risks like mild hyperpigmentation and ensures a smoother recovery.
The cost of Plasma Fibroblast Therapy varies based on the treatment site and your skin’s specific needs. Since every plan is personalized, we recommend scheduling a consultation to receive a detailed evaluation and pricing.
To protect your results, avoid sun exposure for at least 4 to 6 weeks after treatment. Depending on your skin and treatment goals, 2 to 3 sessions may be suggested, spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart. For lasting results, maintenance treatments every six months are often advised.
