Dr. Riskalla completed his training in General Internal Medicine in Egypt in 2004. He then immigrated to Canada and graduated from the Parkland training program in Family Medicine in 2009. After having practiced in the north of Manitoba, Dr. Riskalla moved to Surrey BC in 2011, where he worked at the Primary Care Clinic, Amari Medical and South Surrey medical clinic.
Compassionate, honest and empathic, Dr. Riskalla takes the time to discuss with his patients about their needs and the impact they believe the treatments will have in their day-to-day life. Considering his specialty as an art form, he continues to perfect its skills through continuing education.
Dr. Riskalla is also passionate about teaching UBC residents and international medical graduate residents. He enjoys spending time with his wife and their 2 adorable daughters and likes to hike, ride his bicycle and play squash.
