With a Doctor of Medicine degree from Laval University (1975) and a specialization in Dermatology, Dr. Marie-Christine Roy has built an impressive career portfolio and gained her much sought-after expertise in the field over the years of professional work.
From 1980 to 1997, she practiced Dermatology at the Department of Dermatology of the Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal university hospital center. Since then she focused her attention on private practice in medical dermatology and cosmetic dermatology at her Centre de dermatologie et esthétique au laser de Dr. Roy. She believes that achieving a sound balance between physical health and self-image is the foundation of well-being.
Dr. Roy is a member of several professional associations including the Montreal Dermatology Society, the Association des dermatologistes du Québec, the Canadian Dermatology Association and the American Board of Dermatology (USA), and regularly attends national and international conventions.
