Treatment & Technology

Noticing more hair fall or changes in texture can feel discouraging, especially when it develops gradually. Whether linked to stress, hormones or natural changes over time, scalp health plays a key role in how hair looks and feels.

Exosome Hair Therapy is a regenerative treatment designed to support the scalp’s ability to maintain healthy, resilient hair. At Dermapure, we use plant-based exosomes extracted from stem cells. These vesicles are naturally rich in peptides, growth factors and microRNAs that help promote balance in the scalp and stimulate the environment around weakened follicles.

To prepare the skin and activate the regenerative response, a controlled stimulation step is always included. This may involve JetPeel technology or microneedling, depending on your treatment plan. When appropriate, this protocol may also be combined with PRP to further support follicle health.

Treatable Areas

Exosome Hair Therapy can be applied to areas of the scalp showing reduced hair density, including the temples, frontal zone, crown, and overall hairline in both men and women. Whether the concern is gradual thinning or more sudden hair loss, treatment targets the zones where scalp health and follicle activity need the most support.

Personalized Evaluation

Your first visit begins with a one-on-one consultation with a medical professional. We take the time to explore your hair history, general health, and potential contributing factors such as stress, hormonal fluctuations, or postpartum-related hair loss. This evaluation helps determine the most appropriate regenerative treatment protocol based on your scalp health and hair density.

Clinical Photography

To track your progress over time, photos of your scalp are taken from different angles before treatment begins. These clinical images serve as a reference to assess changes in thickness, texture, and overall improvement in targeted areas.

Treatment Process

Each session begins with scalp stimulation, designed to gently activate the skin and enhance the effectiveness of the treatment. Depending on your personalized protocol, this step may include targeted microneedling or the use of JetPeel technology. If PRP is part of the plan, a blood draw is performed at the start of the session to isolate the platelet-rich plasma.

When JetPeel is used, it delivers the exosomes directly to the targeted areas using high-pressure microdroplets, without needles. This method allows for precise, comfortable and even application. In protocols involving microneedling, the exosomes are applied topically immediately after the stimulation to support the natural regeneration process. PRP can also be combined with either approach when appropriate.

Return to Daily Activities

Sessions typically last 45 to 60 minutes and are performed in a calm clinical setting. There is minimal downtime. You may experience mild redness or sensitivity in the treated areas, but this usually subsides within a few hours. You’ll be able to return to your regular activities the same day, without interrupting your routine.

Cost of Treatment

Because every case of hair loss is unique, the number of sessions and technologies involved will vary from one person to another. Whether your personalized plan includes PRP therapy, JetPeel, or microneedling, all costs will be reviewed with you during your consultation. Your provider will design a tailored approach based on your goals, scalp health, and hair regeneration needs.

Maintenance Plan

Exosome Hair Therapy delivers results progressively. Most patients benefit from two to six sessions, spaced a few weeks apart, depending on the severity of thinning and the desired outcome. Once the initial results are achieved, occasional maintenance sessions may be recommended to help maintain scalp balance and support long-term hair density.

Contraindications

This treatment is not recommended in cases of active scalp infections, uncontrolled autoimmune conditions, pregnancy, or active cancer. A full medical consultation is required before beginning any protocol to ensure that Exosome Hair Therapy is safe and appropriate for you. In most cases, the therapy is very well tolerated, thanks to the use of plant-based, biocompatible ingredients applied topically and without needles.
