RF Microneedling is an advanced treatment that combines traditional microneedling with radiofrequency energy to target deeper layers of the skin. While microneedling alone creates controlled micro-injuries on the surface to trigger skin renewal, RF Microneedling goes further by delivering heat into the tissue. This added thermal effect helps stimulate collagen production and improve skin structure over time.
The treatment uses ultra-fine needles to create precise micro-perforations while emitting gentle, targeted heat. This dual action promotes the regeneration of collagen and elastin, and can improve firmness, texture, and tone. Desensitizing the skin with a numbing gel containing lidocaine will reduce the discomfort experienced during treatment. This product is applied and then left on clean skin for approximately 45 minutes before treatment.
