Born and raised in Montreal, Dr. Samantha Balass earned her medical degree at McGill University. She completed her family medicine residency at UBC in Vancouver in 2016. Dr. Balass furthered her expertise, earning a Diploma in Practical Dermatology from Cardiff University in 2018 and completing the Dermoscopy Masterclass with HealthCert in 2021.
As an Osler fellow at McGill University since 2020, Dr. Balass finds joy in mentoring medical students. Beyond the clinical setting, she values quality time with family, stays active, enjoys singing, and indulges in audiobooks.
