We are hearing more and more about this revolutionary technology that melts (freezes!) away stubborn fat without pain or downtime. Effective and proven, what am I talking about? You’ve guessed it, CoolSculpting®!
What is CoolSculpting®?
CoolSculpting® is a non-surgical procedure that permanently destroys localized fat deposits through freezing. Based on research from Harvard University, CoolSculpting® treatments are an effective way to define body contours and refine and sculpt your silhouette without surgery or downtime. Using controlled cooling in the treated area, CoolSculpting® crystalizes adipocyte fat cells, breaks them down and gradually eliminates them through natural body processes. The back, thighs, belly, flanks and chin benefit from CoolSculpting® . Depending on the area being treated, a CoolSculpting® session lasts on average from 30 to 90 minutes. Optimal results are achieved within 8 to 16 weeks following a CoolSculpting® treatment*.
How did the idea of CoolSculpting® originate? ?
FUN FACT: In the 1970s, doctors launched a study on children suffering from obesity*. The fat was seen melting from the cheeks of these children as they sucked ice cubes for a long time. The cold acted on the fat cells, creating dimples for them!
From this finding came the idea of inventing a therapeutic technology to destroy fat deposits. In 2007, the first machine with the same function as CoolSculpting® was born.
CoolSculpting® : a proven professional technology
This advanced technology, recognized worldwide and approved by Health Canada, administered by our experienced, Allergan CoolSculpting®University certified technicians, makes CoolSculpting®a safe, effective treatment providing visible and natural results*.
It is obviously not recommended to try an ” at home” treatment yourself, given the high risk of burns and side effects that could be caused.
